Don't ever think you can't travel.  I grew up with a sister with spinal bifida.  She was in a wheelchair her entire life and very dependent on me and my parents.  There wasn't anywhere she couldn't go.  This was 25 years ago before the new laws and rules for people with disabilities.  Why?  My parents always told her there wasn't anything she couldn't handle.  We traveled the world.  When she passed away at 16 she had been to more countries than most adults. 

So don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't go there!  I tell you that you can!
